Is there any way I can use my Powerbook as a monitor for my PS2?
I am looking for the cheapest option and already know about elgatos diversity or hybrid usb stick that does it! But that is almost �100! but if there is nothing else I will have to go with it!!!!!!

I'm on the 450 minute plan, and I have 1770 roll over minutes. I've stuck w/the 450 plan, mostly cus almost everyone I call is on AT&T (I switched from Verizon, and saved a boatload, since it's just me on the plan). In the 4 years I've been with AT&T, I've only ever gone into my roll over minutes *twice*. They always end up expiring on me.
Text messaging & the (grandfathered unlimited) data plan are far more valuable to me.

I think the consensus is that Apple abandoned the idea of building a phone completely from the ground up, which was their original idea. The question is *what* exactly they abandoned. At some level it makes sense for them to use Symbian or some other existing OS in order to get the benefit of 3rd party app availability.
Then again, that rather un-Apple like, since I would think Apple would want to have total control over the interface. Maybe Apple *will* come up with a real-time "OS X Lite" operating system, and the 3rd party apps will have to be Java apps, basically. If Apple makes sure that Java performs well on the iPhone then that would be their best strategy...

The calendar is an app called Dateline. It was pretty cheap when I got it, and it's somewhat helpful. I wish I had something that held a little more info, but it's good for a quick glance.

Hi ,I'm Wulfii and I am new here and I hope you guys can help me with my problem I ended up here whilst trawling for a solution to my problem.
I cannot shuffle tunes in a playlist I have tried and tried , I have created playlists but the same song keeps playing, I know it works because it did -Once-and I can't seem to get it to work I await a solution please .

And all that hardware for less than a souped up iMac...
Yeah, it's silly isn't it...
I look at the latest iMacs and can almost convince myself to upgrade from my 2.4GHz C2D iMac, but it's still fine for daily use and the cash buys so much more horsepower elsewhere.
However, if Apple put a decent nvidia card and an i7 2600 in the next 27 inch revision I'll be sold!

I'm simply stating the point that I don't understand how people can keep debating this "issue" when there are CLEARLY more important things to talk about. I think because Apple is so successful they get picked on by the media and other Company's seem to get a free pass.

I want a device the size of an ipod that I can check my mail on, chat, and do some web-surfing for info, all without the ridiculous GUI deformities of windows mobile and treo, etc. and simple, easy to use hardware to back it up. I want to take it out of my pocket, see what I want, then put it away. Seamless integration with my macs as well.
Maybe I'm in a nitch, but I don't see how this could lose. Make it simple, powerful, and seamless and people will ditch the baffling ordeal of their ipaq-esque phones in a heatbeat.

No, the post I responded to talked about false advertising. I'm concluding two things:
1) Just because something isn't criminal doesn't mean it isn't illegal.
2) You don't necessarily need a grand jury to bring a criminal charge.
These conclusions have nothing to do with the ebay listing. The poster I responded to said something about a grand jury and false advertising.
Edit: As an "armchair lawyer," I would probably just sue for restitution. For the other armchair lawyers: Yes, restitution is a cause of action.

Man you need EyeTV2 with an EyeTV 500 Digital Broadcast reccorder. You don't need no stinkin HDMI and it plays beautiful 1080p on any 24" Apple or Dell Display from your 1.25GHz G4 without choking at all.

My Galaxy S is fast, fun, and one of my absolute favorites.
But then again, my iPhone 4 would be number one if it had a good phone. I'm hoping my belief in Apple is reinforced when the next iPhone is released.
My first choice is an iPhone as my primary smartphone.
Perhaps Apple will get this one right. :)

Anyone know how to have a three way audio ichat. I can't seem to get the third person in. I get a warning that I have a conference already open. All people i want to talk to are using macs and have gone to apple discussionsfo info to no avail. Thanks

I think they will use the new 256-Bit advanced vector extensions (256-Bit AVX) of the Sandy Bridge processors. It makes sense, because GPU-based solutions like Badaboom do not reach the same quality as CPU-based solutions. The AVX are ideal for video codecs, filters an so on.
Yeah, that means we will see new Pro hardware from Apple "early next year". And no, you will not see LP in Macs until 2015.

I wonder how many of these posts are trolls? I haven't had any issues whatsoever with 4.3.1. I also didn't have any problems with 4.3; battery life has been absolutely stellar and call performance actually improved in 4.3.1.

It's not the name that's hindering Apple's online efforts, it's the pricing, features and reliability.
I just hope they make iDisk as good or better as DropBox. iDisk in its current iteration is just awful.
